The commuter rail tickets were only about $12 in total, I think. I did, once, take the following itinerary: Metro North from Grand Central to New Haven Shore Line East commuter rail from New Haven to New London and a taxi from New London to Foxwoods. ![]() If you're more focused on comfort than price, you can take Amtrak to New London (typically between $50 and $80 one-way) and then a taxi from the New London train station to Foxwoods (about $30 plus tip). However, it's not cheap ($150 round-trip for a typical itinerary next weekend) and it often requires a long layover for your bus in New London. Metro North may have cancelled its combo package, but Amtrak still offers one. Buses that stop in Stamford, Bridgeport, New Haven, New London, etc. Make sure to choose carefully: buses that go directly to Mohegan & Foxwoods take about three hours. ![]() Greyhound has buses and you can see the schedule on their website.
